イラク情勢　( English ) ブッシュの戦争が終わりに近づいている。彼にとってはイラクを撤退する以外に選択肢はない。侵略されたイラクでは、ナチに侵略されたフランスのように、執拗にレジスタンスを展開し、アメリカ軍は陥落の近いサイゴンの時のように大量の軍事費を無駄に投入している。日本は、国連中心外交に立ち戻り、ファシストの手先になるべきではない。今のイラクの国民は外国が手出しをすることをなにも望んでいないし、軍事侵略や内政干渉をしてもらいたくない。ブッシュのしゃべる言葉は常に「自由をイラクにもたらす」という空疎な言葉であり、実際には献金してもらった企業への恩返しと、石油利権の独占であるから、アメリカ軍がテロリストを撲滅することは全く不可能である。そのかわり彼らは、世界中をめちゃくちゃにした。

In Iraq Bush's war is getting near the end. He has no choice but to retreat from Iraq. In Iraq, people have put up strong resistance against the invaders, just as France did against Nazis occupiers. and Americans waste military spending on the resistors, just as they did at the falling of Saigon. Japan should return to the days when they made their policy according to the United Nations' resolutions, and we should not be manipulated by those fascists. The present day Iraqis don't want foreigners to put their noses in their country, nor do they want to be invaded or intervened. Bush's favorite cliché "bring freedom to Iraq ", always sound empty. His real purpose is to repay what he got from large corporations and pressure groups during the presidential campaign, and to monopolize Iraqi oil, so it is wholly impossible to sweep the terrorists. Instead, Americans have messed up the world.

２００３年総選挙結果 (English) 何という低い投票率であろうか。失業、不況、とこれまでにない問題を抱えながら、半数の人間が棄権するということは、いかに政治への信頼が失われているかを示すものだろう。若者たちや地方の人々はもう自分たちの生活の質の向上を政治に求めていないことが明らかである。この中での自民党の政権維持は、惰性以外の何者でもない。民主党が勢力を拡大したことは、二大政党制への道を開くと言われているが、これは多様な国民の声を吸い上げることがますます困難になり、死票が増え、ますます国民の政治参加が遠ざかる。議論を好まない日本人の性格からしても、多数の少数政党が乱立することの方がたとえ効率は良くなくとも、国民の意見をよりよく反映するはずなのだが。残念ながら、国民の無気力によって支えられた戦後の無能な「独裁政権」はさらに生き延びることになった。これまで構造改革といっても名ばかりだったし、道路公団における改革問題のように、すでに骨抜きになっているものばかりで、これでは日本の将来は憂慮される要因ばかりだ。

On the Results of the general election 2003: What a low voter turnout rate! In spite of the fact that many people are now suffering from unemployment, depressions and other problems more serious than ever before, half of the nations abstained from voting. This means how people lost their faith in politics. It is evident that young people and those living in the countryside are no longer expecting our political system to fulfill their demand for improving their lives. In this circumstances, the continued ruling by the Liberal Democratic party is nothing more than inertia. The strong performance of the Democratic party is said to have opened the way to the two-party system, but this makes it even more difficult to reflect people's voice, increases the wasted votes and prevents people from taking part in the political scene. Considering the characteristics of the Japanese people who dislikes heated discussion and argument, multi-party system should be more efficient in reflecting various opinions of the people. But, regrettably, post-war "dictatorial regime" is to survive for some time to come, supported by "apathy" of the Japanese people. So far, only nominal "structural reforms" have been carried out, as seen in the the Public Roads Administration, most of them are already defanged. We are only to be concerned about Japan's future.

総選挙　(English) いよいよ日本の総選挙が始まった。戦後最低の無能内閣といわれた森総理大臣を引き継いだ、彼の弟子である小泉首相は、前任者に劣らずまったくの無能で、この数年間の日本の改革はほとんど進まなかった。最近景気は底を打ったと言われているが、これは改革のおかげではなく、単なる惰性に過ぎない。そして驚くべきことにアメリカとの同盟は、今後も続けると言っている。本当に日本を改造するには、まずこの自民党の一党独裁をうち破らなければならないのだが、今のように６０％に届くか届かないような投票率では、国民の関心があまりに薄いことを表している。もし残りの４０％が自民党以外に投票すれば、この政党による政治は一夜のうちにつぶれるだろうに。残念ながら国民自身に政治も社会もよくしようという気力はないようだ。

General Election The general election is soon to take place in Japan. The prime minister Koizuimi, who succeeded Mori and his one of his disciples, who is said to have led the most incompetent cabinet after the war, is as brain-dead as his predecessor ,and very few reforms have been achieved for the past years. The economy is said to have got out of the bottom at last, but this is not as a result of revamping, but simply of inertia. Surprisingly, he declares that Japan will continue its alliance with the USA forevermore. If we are to reconstruct Japan, we have in the first place to strike down this "single party system", but too low a turnout of 60% or less suggests that people are not interested in politics. Only if the remaining 40% of the people voted for anything other than Liberal Democratic Party, the ruling by this party would collapse in a night. Regretfully, people seem not to have enough energy to make our politics and society any better.

米大統領の訪日　(English) ブッシュ大統領は何しに日本に来たか？もちろんイラク戦費を取り立てるためである。日本は「日米同盟」によって堅く結ばれているそうだ。おかげで多額の寄付を強要される羽目になった。断れば両国の経済関係にもひびが入りかねない。国際法を無視し、大量破壊兵器がないのにあると嘘をつき、さんざんイラク国内を破壊し人々を殺傷したあげく、戦費が足りなくなったからよこせというのは、強盗の理論とどこが違うのだろうか？我々は盗人のしもべか？ヨーロッパの主要国は、金も軍隊も出さないと言っている。何という違いだろう。ブッシュ大統領はこのあと、フィリピン、タイ、シンガポール、インドネシア、オーストラリアと回って行くが、各国で資金や、軍隊を出すように要求して歩くのだろう。アメリカの一国主義が手痛いしっぺ返しを受けつつある。

Bush to Visit Japan What did President Bush come to Japan for ? Off course he intends to demand the money to spend in Iraq.. Japan is supposed to be engaged in "Japan-US coalition". Thanks to this, we are forced to make tremendous contribution. If we decline, the economic relationship between both countries will suffer. Neglecting international laws, lying about the existence of weapons of mass destruction, destroying the Iraqi mainland and killing and wounding countless Iraqis, this president is brazen-faced enough to ask for money because they are running short of it in the war in Iraq. That is associated with the robber's logic. Are we robber's dog?　Many of the European countries have refused to offer funds or send armies. What a difference! The president is to visit Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and Australia begging money and people. Now hegemonism of the US is getting severe counter-blows

世界貿易機関会議 (English) 　 メキシコのカンクンで WTO の会議が開かれている。今回もアメリカをはじめとする国々が「自由貿易」という名前の搾取を世界中に広めようと躍起になっている。彼らの目的はただ一つ。自分たちの競争力の強い商品を競争力のない国に売りつけて、その国の産業を破壊し、貧富の差を大きくした上で、多大な利益を上げようとすることである。従って「自由貿易」とは、儲けを得る力を持っている国や企業が「自由」だという意味である。かつてイギリスが自由貿易主義を掲げ、周りの開発途上国から多大な利益を上げたことはすっかり忘れられ、新たな犠牲者が世界中に生まれようとしている。特に問題なのは農業分野だ。人々の命の元である食料生産も、どん欲によって食い荒らされ、世界各地で大量生産による農政品の輸出によって、それぞれの自給体制を崩されている。地球温暖化がいずれはアメリカの穀倉地帯やヨーロッパやオーストラリアの牧畜地帯を襲い、不作になればとたんに輸出を止められてしまうのは明らかなのに、自国の農業を死守する国はあまりない。現代資本主義に特有な近視眼的な経済戦略が、将来における大飢饉を引き起こすことにもなるのに、依然として「自由」という戯言に惑わされている人々が多いのだ。 WTO は一刻も早く廃止されなければならない。

WTO Summit The WTO is holding a conference in Cancun, Mexico. This time too, the US and other countries are running wild trying to spread exploitation in the name of "Free Trade". They have only one aim: to sell their competitive products to less competitive countries, destroying the industries there and making steeper the gap between the rich and the poor, and consequently get higher profit. Therefore, "Free Trade" means the countries and corporations which have means of making money are "free" to do anything to make profits from international trading. The fact that Britain used to put up free trade and drew wealth from the then developing countries has been completely forgotten, and new victims are being born. The most serious field of all is agriculture. Food production, which is in the essential part of sustaining life, has been ravaged by greed, and many countries all over the world have their self-sufficiency destroyed by the agricultural exports which are mass produced. Global warming will affect the breadbasket of the US and pastoral in Europe and Australia in the near future and it is evident that those exports will be suspended without notice, but few countries are serious about protecting their own agricultural system. The myopic economic strategy peculiar to modern capitalism might trigger mass famine in the future, but there are still so many people who are blinded by the enchanting, but deceptive word, "Free". WTO must be abolished as soon as possible.

万景峰（マンギョンボン）の寄港　（English）北朝鮮の貨客船が日本に久々に寄港した。すでに武器の輸送や麻薬取引の噂があっただけに、地元の警察は厳重な警備体制を敷いていたようだが、船舶のルールからすれば港への出入りは、いくつかの規則をクリアする限り合法的なものなので、止めることはできない。北朝鮮の体制もそろそろ終わりに近づいている。無血で政体が移行するためにも、日本はよけいな緊張を与えず、むしろ積極的に貿易を盛んにして両国の交流を高めるべきだ。軍事的緊張が起こらないように細心の注意を払いながら、多くの北朝鮮の人間を日本海を行き来させ、まず外の世界の様子ができるだけ北朝鮮の国内に伝わるようにし向ける。北朝鮮の体制を崩すには大砲はいらない。北朝鮮の為政者たちがもっともおそれるのはアメリカの核爆弾ではなく、周りの世界が自由に交易していることが国民にばれてしまうことなのである。

Man Gyong Bong-92 in Port The North Korean intermediate vessel called a Japanese port after a long interval. According to the news report, the local police raised the alert partly because they may have engaged in trading weapons and illegal drugs, but the maritime rules has is that ships are free to come and leave the ports as long as they abide by some of them, so the police cannot deter the calling. The political system of North Korea is getting near the end. For the government to be changed without shedding blood, Japan should be careful not to give unnecessary pressure on them, rather should promote trades between the two countries and interact more often. Taking good care not to cause military tension, we should let as many North Koreans as possible visit our country across the Japan Sea, enabling the North Koreans to know more about the countries around them. We don't need cannons to let them fall from power. What the North Korean administrators fear most is not American nuclear bombs, but that the very fact is exposed that the countries around them enjoy exchanging.

イラクでの爆破事件　(English)　イラクの国連関連の施設が爆破された。相当多数の死傷者が出て、テロが大きく非難されている。国連では、イラク戦争後の「復興」ために働いていたという。ここで命を落とした人々には大変気の毒だが、いったいこの「復興」と何か。地震のような自然災害の復興ではない。これは、自分の国のために石油がほしいというだけで、大量破壊兵器があるといううそを大々的につき、多くのイラク人を殺傷した、アメリカ軍が破壊した国土を復興するために働いていたのだ。こんなバカなことがあっていいのだろうか。国連は、アメリカの勝手気ままな行動の尻拭いをしているだけだ。しかも、部屋の中で暖房機と冷房機を同時に働かせているような不毛な作業である。この際この「復興」作業を中止して、テロの根本原因である、ナチスのやったこととまったく同じアメリカ軍の不法なイラク侵攻と占領についてもう一度見直すべきだ。

Explosion in Iraq UN headquaters in Iraq was destroyed by bombs.  Many people ware killed and injured and terroists are blamed for the attack. UN is said to have been working for the “restoration” of Iraq.  It is pitiful enough for the UN staff to have died there, but what is the “restoraton”?  This is by no means for a natural disaster like an earthquake.  They were working to retore the Iraqi land distroyed by the American, who, to get hold of oil, insist that Iraqi government stored weapons of mass distruction, which was a lie, and killed and wounded countless Iraqis.  What can be more outrageous than that?  UN is only picking up the pieces, which were left over by the arrogant and trigger-happy Americans. Moreover, it is a futile task as if working a heater and a cooler in the room at the same time. Now we should stop this “restoration” and review the unlawful invasion of Iraq and occupation, exactly what the Americans did just as Nazis had done.

長崎原爆の日　(English)今年も広島と長崎に原爆を落とされた日がやってきた。誰によって？それはどの日本国民も公の場では口にしないことになっている。世界でもっともお人好しな国民ーーそれが日本人。もちろん人類史上最大の戦争犯罪であり、毒ガスや化学兵器などとは比べものにならない威力を持つ「大量破壊兵器」の最初の犠牲者だ。アメリカ政府はそれに対して一言も謝りはしない。彼らの言い分は「これのおかげでアメリカ将兵の犠牲者は少なく済んだ」だけの繰り返しである。このため戦後核兵器を開発する国が相次いだ。そして今、北朝鮮がこの威力をもてあそぶ。核兵器を使って世界を支配し、一方では各国への核兵器の拡散を招いた最初の投下国としてのアメリカの責任は、人類が続く限り追及されなければならない。平和への祈りだけでは足りないのだ。

The Day Nakasaki was Atom-Bombed Once again here comes the days when Hirosima and Nagasaki were attacked by atomic bombs. By whom? The answer is not to be made by any Japanese in public. The most duped people in the world--the Japanese. They are the first victims of the "weapons of mass destruction", which dwarfs those of poison gas and of chemical agent.. Washington has never apologized for its atrocity. All they have to say is repeat that many GIs were spared their lives thanks to the bombs. This has caused many countries to manufacture nuclear arms after the war. And now North Korea has learned to use them as instruments for terrorization. As long as human beings exist, the American governments must be prosecuted, who initiated the dropping and detonating of the bombs triggered the world-wide proliferation of nuclear arms race. Prayer for peace is not enough.

フセインの息子殺害　(English) ブッシュ大統領は愚かにもフセインの二人の息子を殺害がイラクの安定化につながると信じているようだ。そうなるどころか、状況は悪化することだろう。たとえフセイン政権がほとんど完全に崩壊しても、他のイラク人たちもアメリカの占領に激怒している。他のアラブ諸国からの援助に加えて、少なからぬイラク人たちがアメリカ人を攻撃し続けるだろう。さらに、フセイン政権を完全に取り除くことにより、一般のイラク人は「フセイン側」のレッテルを貼られる心配なく、アメリカへの抵抗に専念できるようになるだろう。

The Killing of the Sons Mr.Bush seems not to be sensible enough to believe that the killing of Hussein's two sons will lead to the stabilization of Iraq. On the contrary, the situation will get worse. Even though the Hussein regime has almost collapsed, all the other Iraqis are still enraged by the American occupation. In addition to the external help from other Arab countries, not a few Iraqis will go on attacking the Americans. Moreover, the complete removal of Hussein regime will give ordinary Iraqis free hand to protest against the US staying there without worrying about being labelled as "pro-Hussein".

イラク掃討作戦( English )　アメリカ軍は、毎日増え続ける自国兵士の犠牲にどこまで耐えられるか。ベトナムでの恥辱を再び繰り返すだろうか。フセイン元大統領や、息子たちやその幹部を殺害することはイラクの正常化には少しも役立たないにも関わらず、あいもかわらず各地での待ち伏せに出会い、日毎にアメリカ軍兵士の士気は低下していく。イラクでの大がかりな作戦から３ヶ月経ち、様相は完全にゲリラ戦となった。抵抗するイラク人たちはかつてのベトコンの戦法を十分に学んでいるものと思われる。そしてこの場合は、組織が中央集権態勢ではなくネットワーク方式に変わっているから、フセインのような大物をとらえたり殺害しても大きな変化は現れない。フセイン体制はもう崩壊しても、アメリカ占領に怒りを燃やす人々は、シーア派など、数限りなく市民の中に存在する。かつてイギリスが、この土地を委任統治領とし、植民地化の企てを実行に移そうとしたが、さまざまな人種や民族の混じり合う状態に手がつけられず、退散した。今回イギリスはアメリカの尻馬に乗りもう一度昔の夢を実現させようとしているだろうが、フセインを上回るほどの強力な指導者がいなければ、アフガニスタンと同じく、この地を再びまとまった国家にすることはほとんど不可能だろう。ソ連のアフガニスタン侵攻、ユーゴスラビアのチトー大統領なきあとの民族分裂など、歴史はこのような繰り返しを何度も行ってきたのだ。

Mopping up in Iraq How far could the US stand the daily loss of their soldiers? Are they going to repeat the humility of the Vietnam War? Knowing the fact that killing Hussein and his sons and his men won't be helpful to the normalization of Iraq, they are ambushed almost every day in all over Iraq, and their moral is degenerated day by day. It has been three months since the end of the all-out war in Iraq, and now no one can deny that a guerrilla war is being fought. It seems like Iraqis who are fighting back has learned much about the way the Viet Congs fought. And this time, the fighting organization has been structured in network, not in centralized way. That means that killing or capturing such bigshots as Hussein makes little difference. Hussein regime surely collapsed, but there are so many people, including Shi'ites, who are enraged by the American occupation in their mother land. Formerly Britain tried in vain to colonize this area, disguising it as a mandated territory, and conflicting races and peoples made it difficult to rule the area and finally, they fled. This time they take the advantage of the American invasion of Iraq, and may be praying their dreams come true. But it would be almost impossible to make it a united nation again without a more powerful ruler than Hussein, as in the case of Afghanistan. History saw again and again such cases as the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and the confusion of Yugoslavia after Tito's death.
